General FAQs

Are your products made in the USA?

Yes! We craft every jigsaw in the USA at our workshop in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

All of our printing, mounting, cutting and shipping is done from the same workshop so you can be assured of receiving and exceptional jigsaw every time.

What are your Eco Credentials?

  • Our wood is sustainable sourced in North America and bonded with a soy-based, formaldehyde-free glue.
  • We offer a minimal packaging option and use recycled/recyclable boxes and mailers for shipping wherever possible.
  • Our tins are fully recyclable and a snug fit for the puzzles, minimizing excess material and shipping-related CO2 emissions.
  • We make all our jigsaws in-house, reducing waste and transit requirements.

What is the Eco Packaging option?

This option removes as much packaging as possible from the jigsaw while still allowing it to arrive in perfect condition. Your puzzle will arrive in an unbranded recyclable or compostable bag as opposed to a metal or magnetic presentation box.

Eco Packaging enables us to make significant price reductions as it removes many time and material costs from the production process, so we pass on the savings to you!

Please be aware that repackaging of our jigsaws is only permitted for personal use and not for resale, unless you have our permission.

What is your shipping/returns policy?

We ship using USPS, UPS or FEDEX ground services for best value. All delivery dates are approximate. Rush shipping may be possible but please contact us before ordering if it is required.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

If your jigsaw is damaged upon arrival please make us aware within 7 days of delivery, otherwise to be eligible for a return your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and in its original packaging. We do not accept returns for opened jigsaw puzzles due to the potential for pieces to be lost.

To start a return please contact us at store@anthologypuzzles.com.

What are Mystery Designs?

Ordering a Mystery Design means we will pick a jigsaw to send to you without you knowing the design in advance. There will be no reference image other than a small one on the spine if you order a box/tin.

If you order a Mystery Design as part of a subscription, we guarantee that it will be a brand new one for the current month so you won't risk getting the same design twice.

Subscription FAQs

Why subscribe?

A subscription guarantees you the lowest possible prices on our jigsaws, with savings up to 40% off retail prices as well as discount shipping to all 50 US States.

The more jigsaws you order each month, the bigger your discount!

What subscriptions are available?

Our build-a-box style subscription allows you to specify the artist or theme you want to receive each month. Up to 10 options from a variety of artists and themes can be added to your box.

All of our subscriptions are "Mystery" jigsaws, meaning you will receive a new, previously unreleased design with each order.

Selections can be updated as often as you link using the Customer Portal up until processing, after which you should allow up to 10 days for production, although it is often less.

How can I update/cancel my subscription?

You can do this in the Subscriptions section of your Customer Portal, or buy using the link sent to you by email.

Do you pay Artist royalties on subscriptions?

Yes! Select artists are invited to have their designs offered as a subscription and will receive royalties just as they would for retail sales, so you are still supporting them!

How do I create my subscription box?

To create your box, navigate to our Subscription Box page and select from the various artists and themes. You can add up to 10 items to your box.

The cover image for each artist/theme shows examples of previously released designs to help you decide which will be most enjoyable.

Please bear in mind that we only create one new design per month for each subscription, so adding multiples of the same design to your box will result in receiving the same puzzle twice.

What is the difference between Artists and Themes?

Adding a specific artist to your box means you will receive a new design from that artist each month.

Adding a theme means your puzzle will have an image that matches your choice, but it could be from any artist and is usually created in-house using digital vector art.

Why are the subscriptions all Mystery Designs?

Mystery designs ensure you get maximum fun from the jigsaws by not knowing what image is coming up next. We do it this way to ensure our subscribers are the first to get their hands on the latest releases before they become available to the public, rather than sending you designs that are already on our website.

How to the different sizes work?

Our jigsaws are cut to approximately match ISO 216 sizes, making it easy to find frames should you wish to mount them.

The size chart shows the number of pieces you can expect to find in each jigsaw. On occasion we may replace a rectangular jigsaw with a square one of similar volume.

When you pick a jigsaw with larger pieces, it usually uses the same cut pattern as the size below, scaled up one size for Large pieces and two sizes for Extra Large pieces.

Do the jigsaws include a reference image?

Mystery designs do not include a reference image other than a thumbnail image on the box spine, as they are intended to be more of a surprise.

You can easily find a reference image from our website by inputting the jigsaw code in the search box.

What is the Eco Packaging option?

This option removes as much packaging as possible from the jigsaw while still allowing it to arrive in perfect condition. Your puzzle will arrive in an unbranded compostable bag as opposed to a metal or magnetic presentation box. There will be no reference image (except for custom orders) but you will get a small card with a design code that you can use to access a reference image on our website.

Eco Packaging also enables us to make significant price reductions as it removes many time and material costs from the production process, so we pass on the savings to you!

Please be aware that repackaging of our jigsaws is only permitted for personal use and not for resale, unless you have our permission.
