1. Select a piece style. Classic cut or Whimsical Style with themed pieces.
2. Pick a puzzle cut that matches your desired size & orientation
3. Upload your image and adjust to fit inside the frame. Please allow up to 5mm bleed around the edges to account for material trimmed during the laser cutting process. The upload tool will tell you if there are any issues with image quality.
4. Add optional text for the engraving on the lid & front of the box. Leave blank if not required.
5. Check out and leave the rest to us! We will contact you before production if we have any concerns about quality or content.

Custom puzzles are made using the same exceptional materials and techniques as our regular puzzles and are designed to last at least 100 years without fading or peeling.
We use a 1/4" specialist formaldehyde-free Birch, Maple, Oak or Mahogany plywood depending on seasonal availability.
Images are giclee printed with archival paper and specialist pigment inks - the same as you would get on a fine art print. Even your reference image is printed using this technique!
Your puzzle will be presented in one of our elegant wooden boxes, complete with your custom engraved title and optional additional text on the front side.
A small giclee printed reference image will also be included inside the box.
We recommend a minimum of 300ppi for your images, although our upload portal will allow a minimum of 150ppi. Most photos from modern smartphones on highest quality settings will suffice for smaller puzzles. Avoid using images taken directly from social media, screenshots or messaging apps. Our upload system automatically detects image quality. If your image is rejected and you desperately still want it printing, please contact us at store@anthologypuzzles.com.
Other factors that make a good image are lots of bold colors and not having too many areas that are all the same color, such as large patches of clear sky in scenic photos.
We do not edit your images, but you can adjust them yourself during the upload process.
IMPORTANT
Please remember that you must have the rights to use the image that you send us. You assume legal responsibility for any image that we transfer to a puzzle on your behalf.
We reserve the right not to produce a puzzle containing any image that we feel could harm our brand, such as politically motivated or obscene pictures. A full refund and explanation will be provided if we decide not to produce your puzzle for this reason.
The size of your puzzle and number of pieces, will have a big effect on difficulty.
In addition, the style of the pieces can present different challenges, for example some of our whimsical puzzles contain straight-edged pieces in places that aren't just the border, making them more challenging. Having lots of pieces with similar colors will also add to the difficulty.
Creating custom jigsaw puzzles is a time-consuming process. Other than the laser cutting, your puzzle is made by hand. We always strive to process orders as quickly as possible, but please allow up to 30 days for delivery (longer for international orders).

Due to the uniqueness of custom puzzles we are unable to accept returns unless we have made an error or there is damage on arrival. Please inspect your puzzle immediately upon receipt and inform us of any issues within 48 hours.
If you wish to purchase larger quantities of a single design, please contact us for a wholesale quote. We have additional sizes and packaging options available for orders of 10 or more identical puzzles.
